If you like sambal matah, and kecombrang, I recommend you to try this affordable restaurant. I tried their favourite menu nasi goreng cakalang asap sambal matah kecombrang and I like it. Don't forget to order additional dishes such as ayam asap sambal matah. Be prepared to queue cause it will be long

They have the tastiest fried rice in town! The smokey smells and light taste are good. If you like to taste a more fragrance fried rice order their kecombrang variant. Additionally, order "telur dadar" for perfect combination. They also serve you loaded chips "kerupuk". For the spice, they use chopped chili, be sure you can handle it! Unfortunately, sometimes their taste are not consistent. Sometimes it gets too salty and sometimes it gets less smokey. As for muslim, please make sure if they are using "angciu" or not.

This was my first time trying Kembang Bawang, and it did not disappoint! We happened to be around the area, and my coworker said I’d definitely love this place and he was right. We tried three different dishes, and all of them were really good! My favorite was the Oseng Ayam Asap Cabai Hijau which is absolutely delicious. Definitely coming back for more!

They mainly served fried rice, a lot of versions of it, smokey chicken, cakalang (spicy sauteed fish flakes) and you can mix it with kecombrang (red ginger Lily) which will give a distinct fragrant. Side dishes include smokey chicken sautéed with sambal, sautéed squid with green chilli, fried noodle and others. Well the drawback here was, all main dishes served here were mainly fried things. One thing you got to try besides the fried rice, it's the green grass jelly, they made a green ball out of the grass jelly and it's sweet! The source of sweetness in the dish was the grass jelly ball, amazing!

You should came to this place. They have a great menu. Kecombrang is the main character in their dishes. “Nasi Goreng Cakalang Kecombrang” so gwed!! And you can choose of spices from medium until super hot. “Ayam sambel matah” super duper gwed!! Red onion so fresh and the chicken is so soft, not too dry and yumm.. If you like “acar” they have it and so fresh and make your food complete.

They are known as one of the best fried rice in town. They used many garlics and onions just as their name. I tried the recommended dish, smoky cakalang fried rice with stinky beans and kecombrang. They had spicy level depends on how many chilies they will cook in it. I did not even choose the highest level even I like spicy, but it seemed that the spicy will affect your stomach later than burn your mouth in instance. I could taste the smokiness and the fried rice was cooked well with generous portion. Surely it was a tasty fried rice, however it was not the best for me. I also tried their oseng ayam asap sambal matah. The dish came with proper portion of garlic and chilli. Sambal matah was good but not too authentic if I compared to Balinese sambal matah. Something was lack on it but I dont know what. Overall a nice experience and might be back or try their other outlet at PIK.

Kembang Bawang Restaurant truly impresses with their mind-blowing Smoked Cakalang Fried Rice featuring Torch Ginger (kecombrang). Opting for the spicy version, I was blown away—it's super duper good! The smoked chicken fried rice also holds its own. What stands out most is the rice texture, perfectly suited for fried rice. Kembang Bawang's mastery of flavors makes this dish a must-try for any fried rice aficionado. A delightful experience that lingers on the palate!
